Robi Internet & MMS Settings in Android Mobile Phone

Robi is the third largest mobile phone operator service provider in Bangladesh with more than 25 million subscribers in this early 2015. Previously Robi was as Aktel. Now days low cost smartphones has changed the handset user dynamics over the last few years.  So, many Robi user ( subscriber) using internet with 3g connection in their mobile. Most of the Smartphone devices over the country as seems android now. And many of them search " how to set up or how to activate Robi internet and MMS in their android mobile phone. Here the solution for them.

At first need to active an internet package. Choose your plan ( as now robi offers) from bellow list and activate internet by dialing the "Activation Code".

 

Important Notes:

- After expiration of Data Bundle Pack, subscribers will be charged BDT 0.01/10KB
- Dial *8444*88# for data balance check.
- To avail 3.5G internet service dial *666*1#
- 3.5G Deactivation Code: *666*2#

Now, try Automatic Setting: Dial *140*7*1# from your Robi number for automatic configuration settings. After receiving the setting sms save it from message option. That's it. if does not receive configuration Sms then follow bellow step.

Then Menual, Robi Internet Settings for Android  phone:

    Go to Settings >> Wireless & Networks >> Moblie Networks >> Access Point Names

    Press the Menu button
    Tap on New APN
    Under Name, type: Robi-INTERNET tap Ok
    Under APN, type: INTERNET, tap Ok. ( case-sensitive)
    Press Menu again
    Tap SAVE

Now restart ( turn off and on again) your mobile, Its Done :)

Robi MMS Settings for Android Mobile:

    Go to Settings >> Wireless & Networks >> Moblie Networks >> Access Point Names

    Press the Menu button
    Tap on New APN
    Under Name, type: Robi-MMS tap Ok.


    Under APN, type: WAP
    MMSC: http://10.16.18.40:38090/was
    MMS Proxy: 10.16.18.77
    MMS Port: 9028
    Press Menu
    Tap SAVE

Now restart ( turn off and on again) your mobile, Its Done :)
